Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the Screen + Camera Recorder browser extension (“the extension”). By installing or using it, you agree to these terms.
1. What the extension does
The extension records your screen and, optionally, your camera and microphone, and lets you trim, download, and optionally upload the result to your own Google Drive. All processing happens locally in your browser.
2. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for what you record and share, and for having the right and consent to record any screen content, people, audio, or video you capture.
- You must comply with all applicable laws, including recording-consent, privacy, and copyright laws in your jurisdiction.
- You are responsible for your own Google account and for any content you upload to or share from your Google Drive.
3. No warranty
The extension is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Recording, conversion, and upload features may not work in all environments, and we do not guarantee that recordings will be error-free or that files will never be lost.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, recordings, or profits, arising from your use of the extension.
5. Third-party services
If you use the Google Drive feature, your use of Google services is also subject to Google’s own terms
and policies. The extension only requests access to files it creates (the drive.file scope).
6. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
